New Ventilation System for More Energy Efficiency and Better Indoor Climate
The installation of our new ventilation system on the roof of the print shop has begun. With the new technology, we are not only investing in more efficient energy use, but also in a more pleasant indoor climate for our employees.
An essential component of the system is the heat recovery from the machine exhaust air. In the future, the heat generated during the production process will be absorbed via heat exchangers and used to heat the supply air. In this way, part of the previously unused energy dissipated to the outside can be reused sensibly.
Two heat pumps are used for heating in winter and cooling in summer. On warm days, the supplied outside air can be actively cooled and thus ensure more pleasant temperatures in the print shop.
With the new system, we are thus combining energy efficiency and sustainability with a noticeable improvement in working conditions in our production.
