herpa print has been using 100% green electricity from renewable sources since 2022. Now we are taking another step towards sustainability.

By the end of the year, we will install 464 solar panels with a PV generator output of 211 kWp on the roof of Plant 1. This will enable us to generate around 20% of Plant 1's electricity requirements ourselves from next year.

After the renovation of our ventilation system next year, an expansion of the solar system and the battery storage system is planned. In the long term, this will reduce our operating costs and increase our independence from the volatile electricity market. This also ensures more stable prices – to the benefit of our customers.
